Jim Wilson is Halliburton’s global reservoir solutions champion for MWD/LWD and the global product champion for the GeoTap® formation pressure tester and GeoTap® IDS LWD formation fluid identification and sampling tool. Jim has more than 40 years experience at companies including Schlumberger, Amoco, Baker Hughes and Halliburton. He has worked in wireline and LWD as an engineer, operations manager , director of reliability and product manager and has authored numerous papers on LWD formation evaluation. Jim received his Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a member of SPWLA, SPE and IADD.
