X-Terra Resources Corp., Rouyn-Noranda, Que., and Brownstone Ventures Inc., Toronto, have acquired more than 150,000 ha of land in the St. Lawrence Lowlands between Rimouski and Riviere-du-Loup, Que., bringing the total holding to more than 300,000 ha.

HOUSTON, Feb. 25
– X-Terra Resources Corp., Rouyn-Noranda, Que., and Brownstone Ventures Inc., Toronto, have acquired more than 150,000 ha of land in the St. Lawrence Lowlands between Rimouski and Riviere-du-Loup, Que., bringing the total holding to more than 300,000 ha.

A 5,543-km airborne magnetic survey on the Rimouski, Rimouski North, and Shawinigan projects in the lowlands was recently completed. The survey is composed of 5,543 km of 300 m-spaced flight lines and 3,000 m-spaced control lines.

Magnetic survey maps will be used to outline the structural and lithological geology and aid in further exploration.
