Exillon Energy PLC, Dubai, said its EWS-31 well testing the eastern margin of EWS-I field in Western Siberia’s Khanty-Mansiysk region flowed 960 b/d of oil, natural, on a 10-mm choke from the Jurassic P reservoir at 1,844-50 m.

– Exillon Energy PLC, Dubai, said its EWS-31 well testing the eastern margin of EWS-I field in Western Siberia’s Khanty-Mansiysk region flowed 960 b/d of oil, natural, on a 10-mm choke from the Jurassic P reservoir at 1,844-50 m.

EWS-34 in the western part of the field encountered the main producing Jurassic reservoir at 1,807 m, and wireline logs and shows while drilling confirm the presence of 6.2 m of net oil pay in the Jurassic.

EWS-34 also encountered the pre-Jurassic reservoir at 1,817 m and flowed 320 b/d of oil, natural, on an 8-mm choke.
