HOUSTON, May 28
– Kentucky USA Energy Inc., London, Ky., has brought on line six wells producing a combined 360 Mcfd of gas from the Devonian New Albany shale and Devonian Dutch Creek sandstone in the Illinois basin in western Kentucky.

Early-year sales were intermittent due to a bottleneck at the Olive Grove gathering and treatment facility, but Seminole Energy Services LLC, Tulsa, Okla., completed a multimillion dollar upgrade that has enabled Kentucky USA to deliver its gas. Four more wells are to go on production in coming weeks.
