HOUSTON, July 26 – OAO Novatek and OAO Gazprom Neft established the OOO Yamal Development joint venture to develop potential hydrocarbon assets in northern Russia’s Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Region.

The combined experience of the two companies will enable the joint venture to optimize the development of complex multipay fields that contain natural gas, gas-condensate, and crude oil.
