Rodinia Oil Corp., Calgary, said its subsidiary Officer Basin Energy Pty. Ltd. secured a rig for its exploratory program to test six large structures to an average depth of 3,000 m for oil in the Officer basin in South Australia.

HOUSTON, Oct. 26
– Rodinia Oil Corp., Calgary, said its subsidiary Officer Basin Energy Pty. Ltd. secured a rig for its exploratory program to test six large structures to an average depth of 3,000 m for oil in the Officer basin in South Australia.

Drilling is to start in February 2011. The contract with Ensign Australia Pty. Ltd. provides for the drilling of four firm wells with the option for four more wells.
