HOUSTON, June 22
– DualEx Energy International Inc., Calgary, expects to begin shooting 3D seismic in the last quarter of 2010 on the Bouhajla exploration permit onshore central Tunisia, subject to approvals.

Consulting engineers estimated an unrisked 82.8 million bbl of original oil in place in the Cretaceous Abiod and Eocene El Gueria formations at Bouhajla North, the first prospect identified on the permit. The company has 100% interest in the permit.

The company has identified several other leads and opportunities in multiple formations on the permit.

The permit covers 105,000 acres in the Pelagian basin west of Sidi el Kilani oil field, which has produced 48 million bbl of light oil from Abiod fractured chalk locally dolomitized in association with wrench tectonics.
