HOUSTON, Nov. 1 – Uruguay plans a second offshore licensing round in 2011.

ANCAP, the national oil company, will offer a technical presentation and data room in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Nov. 9 to outline the geology and exploration potential off Uruguay and explain general bidding terms.

The company’s technical team will be available Nov. 9-11 to present Uruguay’s offshore database on a workstation.
