HOUSTON, Nov. 10 – Eni SPA has begun interpretation of airborne geophysical surveys on six land and offshore licenses in Gabon.
The six licenses total more than 8,000 sq km. They are D3 and D4 in the north Gabonese basin in conventional waters and E2, F3, F4, and F7 in the promising onshore basin.
Fugro affiliates said three airborne geophysical technologies were required to image a wide range of geological targets that could not be resolved with a single technique.
The surveys included very high resolution Falcon airborne gravity gradiometry and helicopter electromagnetics on Block F7 and conventional airborne gravity blocks D3-D4 and E2, F2, and F3.
