HOUSTON, Jan. 11 – Tullow Oil PLC has spud the Likonde-1 exploration well on the Ruvuma PSA in southern Tanzania.

The well is to test multiple targets of Tertiary, Cretaceous, and Permo-Trias Karoo age.

Participants are Tullow 50%, Aminex PLC’s Ndovu Resources Ltd. 37.5%,
and Solo Oil 12.5%.
