HOUSTON, Mar. 8
– Dana Gas, Sharjah, reported gas production at three wells in Egypt’s Nile Delta.

The El Panseiya-1 discovery in the West El Manzala Concession cut 11 m of pay in Pliocene Kafr El Sheikh and tested at 10 MMscfd of dry gas. It is expected to recover 8-13 bcf of gas.

The South Faraskour-1 discovery in the same concession cut 20 m of net pay in the Cretaceous Abu Madi and 1.4 m in Kafr El Sheikh and tested 16.3 MMscfd of gas
with condensate. It is to recover 27-57 bcf plus condensate.

Both discoveries are to be tied into the El Wastani gas processing plant by the end of
2010.
