Chad: ERHC Energy granted three exploratory blocks

HOUSTON, July 1 – Chad has awarded three exploratory blocks to ERHC Energy Inc., Houston.
The company, which has other holdings in the Gulf of Guinea off Sao Tome & Principe, said it expects to announce a concluded production sharing contract for the Chad blocks as early as next week.
The award of BDS 2008, Manga, and Chari-Ouest Block 3 follows several months of negotiations, ERHC said.
