On its Internet site, Environmental Resources Management (ERM) Group, Exton, Pa., publishes a weekly summary of federal and state regulatory activity in the U.S.
A petroleum-related issue, covered in one of the recent updates, is the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) final rule concerning continuous emissions monitoring.
ERM gathers information on key environmental issues from the Federal Register and individual state registers. The company's web site includes a service called, "The Environmental Library," which links the user to current and past issues of ERM publications.
Another section provides links to other web sites focusing on environmental, health, and safety issues, including the web pages of the EPA, state environmental agencies, and international environmental agencies.
ERM Group director Michael E. Herron says the popularity of the weekly summary is increasing, and that ERM is planning to expand it.
Visitors to ERM's web page can access information on regulatory developments by choosing "The Hot Button" section on its site at http://www.erm.com.
