AFE Oil & Gas Consultants Inc., Dallas, completed a successful sand fracturing treatment on its Callejo No. 2 well in Dallas County (OGJ, May 5, 1997, p. 134). American Fracmaster Ltd., Kilgore, Tex., performed the job. About 1.636 million lb (18,000 bbl) of 20-40 Ottawa sand were pumped into the Barnett shale formation at an average rate of 50.5 bbl/min and an average pressure of 3,000 psi.
