OIL STRIKE IN SOUTHERN ITALY MARKED FOR DEVELOPMENT
Lasmo plc, London, has disclosed plans by partners in a block in southern Italy to apply for a production license.
Chosen for development is the Torrente Sauro block, where Total Mineraria SpA's 2 Tempa Rossa confirmation well flowed 1,366 b/d of 17 gravity oil from pay at 4,800 to total depth 5,037 m.
