SHELL'S HURRICANE RELIEF PROGRAM PASSES THE $1 MILLION MARK

Shell Oil Co. last week reported contributions to its relief effort for victims of Hurricane Andrew topped $1 million. Bill Schutzenhofer, Shell vice president of marketing, said branded service station retailers by Sept. 11 had contributed more than $1 million to storm relief efforts. Shell retailers in 40 states gave l/gal of gasoline sold during Sept. 1-15 to help hurricane victims in Florida and Louisiana. Schutzenhofer praised "the outpouring of support from our family of retailers."
