Matt Marietta has joined Flotek Industries Inc. as senior vice-president of corporate development and investor relations effective Mar. 1.
Based out of Flotek’s headquarters in Houston, Marietta will serve on the company’s executive leadership team, reporting to John W. Chisholm, chief executive officer, president, and chairman.
Marietta previously worked at Stephens Inc. where he was a publishing sell-side analyst covering Flotek and led the oil field services equity research team.
He began his career in the Barnett shale in 2005 as an independent land prospector. He subsequently joined XTO Energy Inc. during its rapid acquisition phase and assisted in the integration of acquired properties across North America into the enterprise.
