Larson to succeed McEvoy as Oceaneering CEO

Roderick A. Larson has been designated to succeed M. Kevin McEvoy as chief executive officer of Oceaneering International Inc. immediately following the firm’s 2017 annual meeting of shareholders scheduled for May 5.

Roderick A. Larson has been designated to succeed M. Kevin McEvoy as chief executive officer of Oceaneering International Inc. immediately following the firm’s 2017 annual meeting of shareholders scheduled for May 5.

Larson has served as president since February 2015 and is expected to continue in that role as chief executive officer. He previously served as senior vice-president and chief operating officer from May 2012 to February 2015.

Prior to joining Oceaneering, he was with Baker Hughes Inc. for more than 20 years, where he held various positions, including president of its Latin America division.

McEvoy spent 38 years at Oceaneering, serving as chief executive officer beginning in May 2011 and president from May 2011 to February 2015.
