Matthews, Wheatley named co-heads of TPH & Co. Canadian unit

Richard Matthews and Derek Wheatley have been named co-heads of Canada for Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. Securities-Canada.

Matthews and Wheatley, who will each serve as a managing director and co-head of Canada, join the integrated energy investment and merchant bank’s Canada Chair Hilary Foulkes in driving the firm’s Canadian efforts.

Matthews was previously a managing director and head of Canadian acquisitions and divestitures at FirstEnergy Capital Corp. in Calgary. Wheatley was previously a managing director of institutional equities at Scotiabank.
