Avdeev named CFO for DEA Deutsche Erdoel

Dmitry Avdeev has been named chief financial officer for DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG, Hamburg, effective Aug. 1.

Avdeev has been responsible for finance, risk management, and controlling at L1 Energy. Earlier, he served as chief financial officer at OJSC Rosneft and co-head of Morgan Stanley’s Russian investment banking operations.

Avdeev succeeds Johannes Karlisch, who was named chief commercial officer.
