Aramco names new EVPs in upstream, downstream segments

Aramco has established new business line executive vice-president positions in its upstream and downstream operating segments.

Creation of the positions follows the establishment of the upstream president and downstream president positions earlier this year (OGJ Online, May 18, 2023). 

Effective Sept. 1, in the upstream segment, Abdul Hameed A. Al Dughaither has been appointed business line executive vice-president of exploration, petroleum engineering and drilling and Abdulkarim A. Al Ghamdi has been appointed as business line executive vice-president of gas.

In the downstream segment, also effective Sept. 1, Ibrahim Q. Al Buainain has been appointed as business line executive vice-president of global manufacturing, and Yasser M. Mufti has been appointed as business line executive vice-president of products and customers.
