Shell Pakistan Ltd. (SPL) has appointed Waqar Siddiqui as chief executive and managing director, effective Nov. 1.
Siddiqui joined SPL in 2001 and has since held several senior leadership positions locally and internationally.
Prior to returning to Pakistan, he was managing director of Shell downstream retail in PT Shell Indonesia. He has been a director on the board of SPL since 2019 and holds 24 years of experience in the downstream sector.
