Vermilion makes senior leadership changes

Vermilion Energy has made changes to its senior leadership team following the departure of Michael Kaluza as executive vice-president and chief operating officer.

Vermilion Energy Inc., Calgary, has made changes to its senior leadership team. Dion Hatcher and Darcy Kerwin will fulfill duties in lieu of filling a chief operating officer role following the departure of Michael Kaluza as executive vice-president and chief operating officer, effective immediately.

Hatcher has been appointed to the newly created position of vice-president, North America. Hatcher joined Vermilion in 2006 and most recently served as vice-president of the Canadian business unit. In his new role, Hatcher will be responsible for all of Vermilion's operations in Canada and the US.

Kerwin has been appointed to the newly created position of vice-president, international and HSE where he will oversee Vermilion's health, safety, and environment efforts and be responsible for all of Vermilion's international operations. Kerwin joined Vermilion in 2005 and most recently served as vice-president, strategic planning.
