Limetree Bay Ventures appoints Rinker as chief executive officer

Limetree Bay Ventures LLC, St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, has appointed Jeffrey Rinker as chief executive officer, effective Nov. 11, to lead the company’s combined refinery and terminal organizations.

Limetree Bay Ventures LLC, St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, has appointed Jeffrey Rinker as chief executive officer, effective Nov. 11, to lead the company’s combined refinery and terminal organizations. He succeeds Brian Lever, who will remain with the company through Nov. 30.

Lever joined the company in 2018 to lead the restart of the idled 500,000-b/d refinery at Limetree Bay on St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands and its integration with Limetree’s terminal facilities (OGJ Online, Nov. 5, 2018; Sept. 26, 2019).

Rinker holds more than 30 years of industry experience leading large, international energy businesses. He most recently served as executive vice-president, downstream and midstream for Husky Energy. Prior to joining Husky Energy in 2017, Rinker held various roles at OMV Group and BP PLC.

Limetree Bay Ventures is a large-scale energy complex in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. The complex consists of Limetree Bay Refining, a refinery with peak processing capacity of 650,000 b/d of petroleum feedstock, and Limetree Bay Terminal, a 34-million-bbl crude and petroleum products storage and marine terminal facility serving the refinery and third-party customers.
