Security problems have forced DNO ASA, Oslo, to suspend production in Yemen.

The company had been producing a combined 1,950 b/d of oil, 950 net to its working interests, from Blocks 32 and 43, both of which it operates. The blocks are in central Yemen north of Al Mukalla.

DNO said it has implemented plans to secure its facilities and remove nonessential workers. All expatriates have been moved to Dubai.
