EXXON PLAN TO RESUME CLEANUP APPROVED

The U.S. Coast Guard has conditionally approved Exxon Corp.'s general plan for resumption of oil spill cleanup operations in Prince William Sound and the Gulf of Alaska. The conditions involve the use of intrusive cleanup methods, protection of wildlife and commercial and subsistence fisheries, use of cleaning agents, and inspection of vessels used in cleanup operations.
