MARKET WATCH: Oil futures prices fall below $57/bbl in New York

Crude oil futures prices fell below $57/bbl in New York on Nov. 11 and Brent crude oil remained just above $62/bbl. The light, sweet crude contract for December on the New York Mercantile Exchange was down 38¢ to $56.86/bbl on Nov. 11.

The light, sweet crude contract for December on the New York Mercantile Exchange was down 38¢ to $56.86/bbl on Nov. 11. The January contract was down 36¢ to settle at $56.90/bbl.

Brent crude oil for January was down 33¢ to $62.18/bbl on London’s International Commodity Exchange. The February contract was down 32¢ to $61.30/bbl.

The NYMEX natural gas price for December lost 15.2¢ to a rounded $2.64/MMbtu. The January contract was down 14.5¢ to a rounded $2.73/MMbtu.

Ultralow-sulfur diesel for December decreased a rounded less than a penny to a rounded $1.91/gal. The NYMEX reformulated gasoline blendstock for December fell a rounded 2.4 ¢ to $1.61/gal.

The gas oil contract for November was $583.50/tonne on Nov. 11, up $7.

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries’ basket of crudes for Nov. 11 was $62.26/bbl, up 28¢ from Nov. 8.
