HOUSTON, July 15 -- Petro Resources Corp., Houston, changed its name to Magnum Hunter Resources Corp. and plans to pursue unconventional hydrocarbons in the US.
Gary C. Evans, chairman, said he secured rights to the Magnum Hunter Resources name after Cimarex Inc., Denver, acquired the former Magnum Hunter Resources Inc., Irving, Tex., in June 2005 for $2.2 billion.
