Matrix Service, Mitsubishi ink LNG tanks collaboration agreement

Industrial services company Matrix Service Co., Tulsa, has signed an agreement with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. to collaborate in the design and construction of above-ground LNG storage tanks in the US. Mitsubishi will conduct engineering and design, and Matrix will perform construction of the tanks.

HOUSTON, Feb. 10 -- Industrial services company Matrix Service Co., Tulsa, has signed an agreement with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. to collaborate in the design and construction of above-ground LNG storage tanks in the US. Mitsubishi will conduct engineering and design, and Matrix will perform construction of the tanks.

The JV recently submitted a bid to construct six LNG tanks, and they anticipate bidding on a number of other projects in the next 3-5 years.
