ConocoPhillips announced the formation of a global gas organization, a new division of its exploration & production segment.

HOUSTON, May 24 -- ConocoPhillips announced the formation of a global gas organization, a new division of its exploration & production segment.

Sig Cornelius who joined the company in 1980 and is currently president of U.S. Lower 48, Latin America and midstream, will become president.
