Dresser-Rand gets contract for compressors

Kinder Morgan Inc., Houston, awarded a multimillion-dollar contract to Dresser-Rand Co., Olean, NY, for three heavy-duty reciprocating compressors for use in carbon dioxide applications at a Snyder, Tex., gas plant.

HOUSTON, May 3 -- Kinder Morgan Inc., Houston, awarded a multimillion-dollar contract to Dresser-Rand Co., Olean, NY, for three heavy-duty reciprocating compressors for use in carbon dioxide applications at a Snyder, Tex., gas plant.

No other details were given in that deal. The equipment is scheduled for delivery at midyear from Dresser Rand's facility in Painted Post, NY.
