HOUSTON, Apr. 13 -- Amerada Hess Corp. named John P. Rielly senior vice-president and chief financial officer, effective April. 1. Rielly succeeds John Y. Schreyer, who will retire from Amerada Hess Apr. 30.
John J. Scelfo was named senior vice-president of finance and corporate development.
Rielly joined the corporation in 2001 as vice-president and controller after 17 years with Ernst & Young LLP, where he became a partner in 1996.
Scelfo, who previously served as CFO of Sirius Satellite Radio and Dell Asia Pacific and spent 19 years in various financial positions with Mobil Oil, joined Amerada Hess in 2003 as vice-president and chief financial officer of worldwide exploration and production.
