EastCoast Energy names president, CEO

Peter Clutterbuck has been named president and chief executive officer of EastCoast Energy Corp., Tortola, British Virgin Islands.

HOUSTON, Oct. 25 -- Peter Clutterbuck has been named president and chief executive officer of EastCoast Energy Corp., Tortola, British Virgin Islands.

He succeeds W. David Lyons, who assumes the position of nonexecutive chairman and owns 22.7% of EastCoast Energy.

Pan-Ocean Energy Corp. Ltd., St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands, spun off EastCoast Energy on Aug. 31 to operate the Songo Songo gas production and pipeline project in Tanzania.
