AltaCanada announces CEO

AltaCanada Energy Corp., Calgary, announced Don Foulkes, currently president, AltaCanada, has also been appointed CEO replacing Josef Hodel.

HOUSTON, Sept. 14 -- AltaCanada Energy Corp., Calgary, announced Don Foulkes, currently president, AltaCanada, has also been appointed CEO replacing Josef Hodel who resigned on August 16 but will remain as vice-chairman and a director.

Foulkes has more than 34 years of experience in the oil and natural gas business and has been involved with several corporations in various plays in Montana and Canada.
