BG Kazakhstan names president and general manager

HOUSTON, Sept. 8 -- Larry Anderson has been named president and general manager of BG Kazakhstan.

Anderson replaces David Simmons, former president and general director.

Anderson has thirty years of experience working with Texaco (now ChevronTexaco) heading the restoration of oil fields in Kuwait and coordinating Texaco's entry into the Karachaganak project in Kazakhstan.
