Enterra Energy acquires Trigger Resources

Enterra Energy Trust has completed the acquisition of Trigger Resources Ltd. for $63.2 million (Can.)

HOUSTON, May 3 -- Enterra Energy Trust has completed the acquisition of Trigger Resources Ltd. for $63.2 million (Can.)

Properties included in the acquisition are in western Saskatchewan and total 62,000 net undeveloped acres with "significant" drilling and development potential, Enterra said. Proved reserves total 2.94 MMboe, and proved plus probable reserves, 4.66 MMboe.

Trigger's first-quarter production averaged 1,400 b/d of oil and 6 MMcfd of gas.
