GDF Britain names managing director

Rene Montaz-Rosset has been appointed managing director of Gaz de France subsidiary GDF Britain. He succeeds Mark Hughes.

PARIS, July 17 -- Rene Montaz-Rosset has been appointed managing director of Gaz de France subsidiary GDF Britain. He succeeds Mark Hughes.

Montaz-Rosset spent his career within the GDF Group, mostly abroad. Since 2000 he has been involved in the group's upstream oil and gas development, first in management of gas supplies from Algeria, then in charge of exploration and production activities in Western Africa, the Middle East, and Guiana.
