Cutt named BHP president of production

BHP Billiton Petroleum has appointed Timothy J. Cutt president, production. He will be based in Houston.

HOUSTON, Sept. 12 -- BHP Billiton Petroleum has appointed Timothy J. Cutt president, production. He will be based in Houston.

Cutt will serve on the company's executive leadership team and manage the company's producing operations worldwide.

Prior to his appointment, Cutt served as president, separately, of ExxonMobil de Venezuela and ExxonMobil Canada Energy. He also served as president of Hibernia Management & Development Co.

Cutt began his oil and gas career with Mobil Oil Corp.
