CAMAC Energy appoints president, chief executive officer

CAMAC Energy Inc., Hartsdale, NY, appointed Byron A. Dunn as president, chief executive officer, and member of the company’s board, effective Oct. 1.

HOUSTON, Sept.24 -- CAMAC Energy Inc., Hartsdale, NY, appointed Byron A. Dunn as president, chief executive officer, and member of the company’s board, effective Oct. 1.

Dunn has more than 30 years of industry experience. He previously served as president and chief executive officer of Global Energy Services, a Houston-based drilling rig, power systems, and equipment manufacturer.

Prior to that Dunn served as the senior vice-president of Harvest Natural Resources Inc. and as the chairman of its joint venture with China National Offshore Oil Corp.
