WesternZagros names Kurdistan vice-president

HOUSTON, Jan. 19 -- WesternZagros Resources Ltd., Calgary, has appointed Ian McIntosh vice-president of its Kurdistan business unit with residence in Iraqi Kurdistan.

McIntosh has more than 30 years of international oil and gas experience. He has held positions with Petro-Canada companies in Libya, Algeria, and Tunisia and was with Ranger Oil Ltd., British National Oil Corp., and Shell International Petroleum.
