HOUSTON, Feb. 17 -- Tullow Oil PLC has appointed Angus McCoss as general manager, exploration, a new role effective Apr. 30.

McCoss has more than 19 years of exploration experience. He recently served as Shell's general manager of exploration in Nigeria.
