HOUSTON, May 15 -- Altinex ASA, Bergen, Norway, plans to buy the privately owned Denerco Oil AS of Copenhagen for $377 million.

Denerco has seven licenses off Denmark, two each off Germany and the Netherlands, one off the UK, and an onshore license in Oman. It is to receive two more Danish North Sea licenses from a recent licensing round.

All of Denerco's production of 10,000 boe/d comes from interests in South Arne, Siri, Nini, Cecilie, and Lulita oil and gas fields in the Danish North Sea.

The combined company will have production of 12,500 boe/d, Altinex said.
