Kerr-McGee makes management appointments

HOUSTON, June 7 -- Kerr-McGee Corp. has promoted Terence Jupp to vice-president of international exploration and production.
Jupp, a 24-year Kerr-McGee veteran, has served in various roles, including vice-president and managing director of the company's former UK operations; vice-president, US onshore operations; director of development for the Gulf of Mexico deepwater region; and development director of Arman field in Kazakhstan.
Separately, Frank Patterson was appointed Kerr-McGee's vice-president of exploration and technology.
Patterson joined the company in 1982 and has been responsible for the Nansen, Boomvang, Gunnison, Red Hawk, Constitution, and Ticonderoga exploration programs. Most recently, he has served as vice-president of Gulf of Mexico exploration.
Greg Jewell has been appointed Kerr-McGee's director of Gulf of Mexico exploration.
Jewell has 22 years of experience with the company, most recently as director of geology for the worldwide business development group. He also has served as exploration geologist for international exploration, director of exploration for the international shelf, director of exploration for China, and exploration manager for the southern division.
