Max Petroleum names Whittaker drilling manager

Max Petroleum PLC, a UK oil and gas exploration and development company with an initial focus in Kazakhstan, has appointed Tim Whittaker as drilling manager.

HOUSTON, Jan. 13 -- Max Petroleum PLC, a UK oil and gas exploration and development company with an initial focus in Kazakhstan, has appointed Tim Whittaker as drilling manager.

Whittaker has more than 30 years of international exploration and development operations experience with major and independent producers. He was drilling manager for Maersk Oil in Kazakhstan during 2002-04.
