Brian Simmons has been named chief executive officer of Templar Energy LLC, Oklahoma City, succeeding David D. Le Norman, who is withdrawing as president and CEO but remaining chairman of the board.
Simmons joined Templar in August 2013 and has been CEO of Le Norman Operating LLC, a wholly owned Templar subsidiary. He earlier worked with Chesapeake Energy.
