AB Resources hires director, midstream operations

LOS ANGELES, May 13 -- AB Resources LLC has hired David L. Ishmael to serve as its director of midstream operations. Ishmael will be in charge of the company's entire infrastructure-related operations in the Marcellus shale.
Ishmael will be responsible for the design, procurement, and installation of pipelines and the location selection, construction, and operation of compressor stations as well as any cryogenic plants needed to remove liquids from produced gas.
Ishmael also will source, negotiate, and manage all infrastructure-related joint ventures with industry partners in the Marcellus shale.
Ishmael was employed during 2007-09 as vice-president, engineering, for Quicksilver Gas Service in Fort Worth. Earlier he served as director of business development and gas supply for Targa Resources Inc. and held various executive positions with Dynegy Midstream Services in 1980-2006.
AB Resources has more than 700 wells throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, 550 of them producing. The company aims to "aggressively exploit its Marcellus shale acreage throughout the Appalachian basin in the next several years."
