LONDON, Apr. 3 -- Total SA has extended its participation in Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd. Co. (Gasco) for 20 years under an agreement with the other shareholders: Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC), Royal Dutch Shell PLC, and Partex.
Gasco, an ADNOC operating company, was created in 1978 to process associated gas from Bab, Bu Hasa, and Asab onshore oil fields; extract NGLs for the shareholders; and deliver ethane and lean gas to ADNOC.
ADNOC holds a 68% interest in Gasco, Shell 15%, and Partex 2%.
