Energy Institute elects new president

HOUSTON, June 25 -- Energy Institute has elected James Smith as president. He is the chairman of Shell UK.

Smith was appointed chairman of Shell UK in 2004. He has been with Shell since 1983 and worked in all of the group’s major businesses.
