HRT Participacoes em Petroleo SA, Rio de Janeiro, has appointed Milton Romeu Franke as chief executive officer of its subsidiary HRT O&G Exploracao e Producao Ltda.
Franke succeeds Marcio Rocha Mello, who remains as HRT’s chief executive officer and chairman.
HRT Participacoes said the change is part of a set of measures designed to increase HRT O&G’s operating efficiency, with focus in the Solimoes basin of northwestern Brazil, where the company holds interests in 21 exploration blocks.
