Andre Goffart has been named president and chief executive officer of Total E&P Canada, succeeding Jean-Michel Gires. A Total employee since 1982, Goffart was vice-president of projects and deputy chief executive officer of Total’s joint venture with Gazprom and Statoil developing the first phase of Shtokman field in the Barents Sea before he moved to Total E&P Canada.
